The best city ever: Kuching, cat city

Kuching means cat in bahsa. Awesome right? Cat city. Any cat lovers dream. Two of my cousins leave here so we stayed with one of them for two nights. Ate traditional Iban food at a place called Dyak, which means tribe. Ibans are the sea Dyaks. Food was interesting. Favorite was the barbecue pork. Not so favorite was the lemongrass chicken. It stannnkkkkkk.

Beatrice took us to the cat museum of Kuching. Here is the view from the top of the hill that overlooks the city.

At the entrance of the cat museum. Pretty much a shrine to cats. It was cat overload. Could barely process all the stuff in there bc there was just so much!

This creepy guy is a mummified cat on display. There were quite a few of these cats and they were very creepy to me. This little guy reminded me of my kitty Buzz. So I called him Buzz. Poor Buzzy!

There are tons of Aristocats posters and trinkets here in the museum and in souvenir shops. Must be a popular movie?

Fifteen years ago was the last time I visited Kuching! So long ago but I remember this cat statue. Had a picture of me as a nine year old sitting here so had to get another one 15 years later.
